1. Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using Twenty-One, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement where you live. If local law requires consent from a parent or guardian, you may use Twenty-One only after obtaining that consent. You may not use the service where applicable law prohibits it.

2. Your account

You agree to provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting access to your email account, Apple ID, Google account, and device. Contact us promptly through support@twentyonehabit.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You may not sell, transfer, or share an account in a way that compromises the security or integrity of the service.

3. The service

Twenty-One helps you choose habits, record daily completion, view streaks and attempt history, and optionally set local reminders. Completing twenty-one consecutive days may unlock another habit inside the app. Features may change as the service evolves, subject to applicable law and obligations relating to an active paid subscription.

You are responsible for decisions you make based on information shown by the service and for maintaining any separate records you need.

4. Health and wellness disclaimer

Twenty-One is a general habit-tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, mental-health, nutritional, fitness, or other professional advice. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and reminders are not emergency alerts.

Consult a qualified professional before starting or changing an activity that could affect your health. Stop an activity and seek appropriate help if you experience concerning symptoms. In an emergency, contact local emergency services. We do not guarantee that using Twenty-One will create a habit or produce a particular result.

5. Subscriptions, trials, and payment

Some features require an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple’s App Store. Available plans, localized prices, billing periods, trial eligibility, and introductory offers are displayed by the app and Apple before you confirm a purchase. The purchase terms displayed by Apple control the transaction.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm a purchase.
  • A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through Apple before the renewal date under Apple’s rules.
  • You can manage or cancel it through Apple subscription settings ↗.
  • Deleting the app or your Twenty-One account does not cancel an App Store subscription.
  • Eligible purchases may be restored for the relevant Apple ID and Twenty-One account.
  • Apple handles refund requests under its policies and applicable law.

Taxes and currency conversion may vary by location. Future subscription prices or offers may change with any notice or consent required by Apple or applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to violate law or another person’s rights; access another user’s account without permission; interfere with, overload, probe, reverse engineer, or circumvent the service or its security except where law expressly permits it; scrape or extract data using automated means without written permission; upload malicious code; impersonate another person; or use the service in a way that could damage it or prevent others from using it.

7. Your information and habit content

You retain ownership of habit names, targets, and other content you submit. You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and comply with law. This license ends when content is deleted from active systems, subject to reasonable backup, security, and legal-retention periods.

You confirm that you have the right to provide the content and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights.

8. Our intellectual property

The service – including its software, visual design, branding, text, and materials supplied by us – is owned by Twenty-One or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose on Apple devices you own or control.

Your use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms. Unless a separate custom end-user license is presented through the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application EULA ↗ applies to the app license.

9. Third-party services

Twenty-One may depend on third parties such as Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and hosting providers. Their products and services are governed by their own terms and policies. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for a third party’s service, content, availability, or independent conduct.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account from the account settings in the app. Account deletion and App Store subscription cancellation are separate actions. Contact us through support@twentyonehabit.com if you need help.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, misuse the service, or if law requires us to do so. Where reasonable and legally required, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Provisions concerning ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability, and disputes survive termination where their nature requires it.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Twenty-One is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not guarantee that data will never be lost or that reminders will always arrive at a particular time. Nothing in these Terms excludes a consumer guarantee or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Twenty-One and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill arising from the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 50. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer-protection rights.

13. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law, including any mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence. Any dispute will be handled by a court or dispute-resolution body with jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing here removes a right to bring a claim in your country of residence where that right cannot legally be waived.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, law, or our operations. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice when required. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using the service before they take effect.
